Finding Christ in the Shadows

       The Bible says in Colossians 2:16-17  “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:  ¹⁷  Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”

        God’s Word  translation says “These are a shadow of the things to come, but the body that casts the shadow belongs to Christ.”

The Old Testament is filled with pictures, or as it is often called, foreshadows of Christ the real that was to come.
